Rachel Weiss Bradbury

Rachel was born January 26, 1975 in Washington City, D.C., daughter of Arnold and Peggy Weiss of Annandale, VA. She attended Annandale High School and went on to graduate from Virginia Tech in 1996.

Rachel and Michael married in June 2001 at the Navy Chapel in Washington, D.C. They shared 20 years of marriage. Rachel was employed as a Logistics Manager at Shell Oil for 15 years.

Lovingly nicknamed "Sweet Baby Rae" she will be remembered as an amazing daughter, wife, mother, and friend, but she especially cherished the role of mother. During her illness, she served on the Patient Advisory Board at MD Anderson. She advocated for early screening and detection of Ovarian and Breast cancers.

Rachel is survived by her husband Michael; three children Abigail, John, and Evan; and her mother Peggy C. Weiss. She was predeceased by her father, Arnold R. Weiss.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment immediately after.

Rachel asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ovarcome, an ovarian cancer foundation.
