Rae Nell Taylor

Rae Nell Coen Taylor went to be with the Lord on August 16th, 2017 in Katy, TX at the age of 73. She was born August 17th, 1944 to Ray and Nell Coen in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Taylor of Katy, TX; sons, Chris Koll (Jeannine), Lewisville, TX; Kevin Koll (Mindi), San Angelo, TX; and daughter Katherine Thompson of Katy, TX; and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister, Rita Ann Pipe, and her husband Ralph of San Antonio, TX; as well as numerous other family members. Rae Nell graduated from Providence High School in San Antonio, TX in 1962. She also attended San Antonio College. Rae Nell has lived in Katy, TX since 1979 and worked for General Electric, Shell Oil, Vinson and Elkins, and Stewart Title. She will be remembered for her friendly smile and outgoing personality as well as her love for God, family, and friends.

There will be a visitation on Thursday September 28th from 6-8 pm with a 7pm Rosary at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home located at 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77079. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday September 29th at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail Houston, TX 77079. A reception will follow immediately after the mass in the church hall. Rae Nell will be privately interred at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
