Ramona Silva Tate

Ramona Silva Tate went to be with her Lord on November 23, 2017. She was born on May 16, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Victor E. and Paula Silva. She was the second oldest out of nine children. Ramona graduated high school at John F. Kennedy in San Antonio, Texas in 1966. She was raised catholic and baptized with her first communion and confirmation. Her hobbies include cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and family and taking long drives. Ramona was an office manager for many years.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Victor E. and Paula; brother, Victor G. Silva, and nephew, Andrew Joshua Silva. She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Tate; daughter, Cyndi Schwartz; son, Billy Joe Stockwell Jr; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Tate and Christy Tate; six grandchildren, Joshua Schwartz, Kaleigh and Caleb Barnfield, Michelle Davis, Zoya Moore, and Vivian Perez; five sisters, Gloria Silva, Sylvia Rodriguez, Carol Perez and Helena Hickman; four brothers, David Silva, Abraham Silva, Norberto Silva as well as thirty nieces and nephews, fifty-eight great nieces and nephews, and nine great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM; with a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
