He began work as a tool and die machinist which preceded a successful career in machine tool sales in the 70’s and 80’s. His joy of photography prompted him to open a photo lab business in the late 80’s and also sold volumetric concrete equipment before finally deciding to retire. He was a man that did not sit idle unless it was to watch the birds in his feeders and the squirrels he so desperately tried to keep out. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, playing golf, bowling and long trips on his Harley. Randy was a fun, friendly, outgoing man who never met a stranger and who never lost his sense of humor and strong Christian faith.
