Born on November 21, 1979, in Joliet, Illinois, to Lorenza and Raul Jordan, he moved to Humble at age 13 and built a life full of love, laughter, and loyalty.
Raul earned an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology from Universal Technical Institute and worked for 18 years at Schlumberger as a dedicated drill bit molder, known for his work ethic and pride in his craft. He married the love of his life, Christine, and together they shared 13 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted, playful father to Analea Marie (13), Raul Jordan III (10), and his brother-in-law Saul "Juju" Rodriguez, whom he embraced as his own after the passing of his father-in-law.
Known for his quick wit, generous heart, and love of a good deal, Raul was a collector of Funko Pops. He also enjoyed collecting DVDs, collecting all the classic movies; The Terminator was his all-time favorite. Raul had a knack for hunting down treasures to resell on eBay. He never missed a chance to binge the latest TV series and was a proud Marvel fan. He also enjoyed volunteering at his children’s school, always showing up with a big smile and a helping hand.
Raul’s sense of humor was a constant presence—while not every joke was a hit, every now and then he’d deliver a diamond that left everyone laughing. His light-hearted spirit brought joy into everyday moments and left memories that will continue to make us smile.
Raul is survived by his wife, Christine; his children, Analea, RJ, and Juju; his mother, Lorenza; siblings, Sonia and Adrian; sister-in-law, Zoe; and his nephew, Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his father Raul Jordan; in-laws Saul and Lupita Rodriguez; and aunts Veronica and Rose Marie Izaguirre.
Raul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
His humor and heart will guide us forward.
A visitation for Raul will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
