My husband Mariano “Mario” Longoria knew Ray for a very long time. He was one of my husband’s best friends. Before my husband passed away, Ray came over and brought him a pressure cooker. They talked about him making some menudo in the pressure cooker. We have so many fond memories of Ray, and he will be missed dearly. May he Rest In Peace.

I love you Popi! I was a 10 year old brat when we 1st met and I was blessed to have you in my life for 40+ years. The memories are so many from fishing trips at the Flagship Pier and Seawolf Park to shrimp fry fest at mom's. I was your hot shot buddy and then your employee working beside you. You stayed with me at the ER in Galveston more than once because I was hurt. You took me to the skating rink when I didn't have a ride. You gave me a little sister by heart in the process and I love you both so much. You weren't just a family friend, you were my Popi! Fly high Popi and rest now.
