Raymond Gonzales Sr.

Raymond Gonzales Sr. 59 of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 14, 2024 surrounded by his family At home. He was born in Houston Texas on March 6, 1965 to the parents of Feliciano Rodriguez and Maria Eliana Gonzales.

He met Irma Gonzales in 2018 and married in Houston, Texas. Raymond had a career as a Marine Civil Senior Superintendent at Bo-Mac Contractors for 24 years. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, he also had a passion for customizing his truck with his sons. He loved to hangout with his family and help others. He enjoyed being outside, cooking BBQ, taking long drives and listening to loud music.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Eliana Rodriguez; brother, John Gonzales; sister, Irene Rodriguez.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Irma Gonzales; sons, Raymond Gonzales Jr. and wife Joanna, Robert Gonzales, and Daniel Gonzales; step daughter, Bianca Gonzales; along with 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and many other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Raymond Jr., Raymond III, Richard, Robert, Daniel, and Feliciano Jr.

Donations can be made to M.D. Anderson and St. Mary Magdalene and St. Jude’s.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 527 S Houston Ave, Humble, Texas 77338. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Morales Cemetery, 14605 Luthe Rd, Houston, Texas 77039.
