My name is Diane Delgado and I was one of Raymond's 1st cousins... I recall a bunch of us 1st cousins staying with my abuelita on ocee and pulling a wagon w kool-aid and  trying to sell it   to workers at the warehouses on Ocee street.... and after it would rain catching crawdads in the ditches.. What I remember most about tiger was how his eyes would squint up when he'd smile.. he looked like he was up to something or had a secret.... he was sweet, Funny, and unique... he had a gentle soul... that is how I remember Tiger ... although everyday life keeps us from each other when you make memories at a young age these are the most impressionable moments that we don't forget no matter how many years pass... Rest in Peace my sweet cousin...

Aunt Sylvia I am so sorry for your loss. Raymond is with the Lord now. Throughout my life I've always cherished the memories of your New Year's Eve parties. I was just thinking about that the other day. How Lisa, Jr and I would stay for days into the new year hanging out playing and going to the putt putt/arcade.  My prayers are with you praying the Lord gives you peace.

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of Tiger and my uncle Ruben Delgado. They must have been 15.  We would hang out and watch Godzilla. I specifically remember watching KISS at Astroworld movie with them. They always included me and in hindsight I am grateful for the generosity of their time. They could have easily kicked me out. Lol  I’m sure I was 4 or 5. I’ll never forget those movies and how kind he always was. 

Uncle Tiger you will be missed. I remember as a  little girl I just thought you were just the coolest. The conversation we had I will hold dear. Rest in paradise. Till we all meet again.

I can remember the days that he would babysit me. I used to love those days. We would go driving around in his truck (or whatever cool vehicle he had at the time) jamming out to some of his favorite tunes. Music I never heard of, but would suddenly become a part of my life.  From Gwen Stefani to Led Zeppelin and Metallica . You name it, we listened to it. It was always a blast being with him. His snarky attitude and quick one line jokes were always something I looked forward to. He was always a fun guy to be around which is why he had so many people who loved him. He gave the best Christmas gifts because he knew my style and he always knew how to put on a grand firework show around the holidays. 

I wanted to be just like him when I was younger and to this day I will always look up to who he was. A man who knew how to enjoy his life. A big part of him will always live with me. I will miss our conversations. I will miss your jokes and your sense of humor. Most of all, I will miss the times we had together. You always saw the best in me. Even though it took me a while to see it for myself . You inspired me to be who I am and I promise I will not let you down. I know you will be watching over us from afar. Until the day we meet again, just know Aria, Olivia, Sarina and I love you and will miss you so unbelievably much.

A very heartfelt prayer for Raymond’s family, The Chapa’s love you all  dearly. 

Father God,

I lift up my friends who are mourning a loved one. I ask that You would bring them  comfort in the midst of this life-shaking event. Thank you for Your promise to walk with and even carry them as they travel through the darkness of grief. Let them not be overcome with sadness, as those who have no hope, but to be strengthened by an awareness of Your presence.
Give them wisdom to make decisions and to handle any issues that may arise as arrangements are made and events take place. Protect their heart and mind. I pray a sense of calm would take hold, even while emotions around them run high, and that the peace you give them would overflow onto those nearby.
Father, You know just what will minister the most to my friends spiritually and emotionally right now. Gently lead them to find the right balance of being alone and being with others. Speak to them through Scripture. Show them Your love through the words and actions of someone else. Help them  find moments of solace in the natural world You've created.
Thank You for being the God of all comfort, the One who holds us in Your hand. It says in Your Word that one day there will be no more death. But for now, I praise You for holding my friends close and giving them rest.

I had the pleasure of working with Raymond for many years and remember he could always be counted on to stir the pot, and we would get a good laugh.  My prayers to his family are for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family on Raymond's passing.  It seems like another lifetime ago that we worked together in AIM client services.  He always had me laughing and was a great teammate.  Rest in Peace, Raymond.

I am so sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. I worked with him many years ago at AIM Funds in Houston, and always enjoyed our conversations. He had a great sense of humor, was fun-loving, and always had a good outlook on life. Rest in peace, my friend; you are gone too soon. 

This is the way I prefer to remember you, the fun loving , witty, crazy guy, who was more concerned about me on the roof shooting (shooing) squirrels.  May you finally rest in peace.
