Raymond Ortega, was born July 5th, 1939 in Houston, TX. He went to be with the lord on October 13, 2013 and is preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Pauline Ortega, and brother; Joe Ortega. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rita Ortega; son, David Ortega, daughter; Natalie Wilson, son; Ray Steven Ortega, sister; Eloise Cruz, brother; Alfred Ortega, sister; Mary Alcala. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home from 5pm-9pm with a 7pm Rosary. Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, Oct. 17 at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St. Houston, TX 77037, at 11am followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
