He attended Jeff Davis High School. He was a devout husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Raymond was a master jeweler for over 55 years, working at Herman Klar’s as well as Nacol’s Fine Jewelry. He was also a Knight, with the Knights of Columbus of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Raymond loved playing golf when time allowed as well as camping with his family. The love of his life is our mom, Mary “Babe” and they were united in marriage for over 50 years! He has 3 sons, Chris, Mark and Eric, and one grandchild Elizabeth Sophia Ramirez, who deeply loved her “PoPo”. He had funny nicknames… “Bill”, “Ace”, “Lightning”, “Billy”, “Ray Ray”, but of all his greatest were “Babe”, “Dad”, and “PoPo”.
He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Ramirez and his mother, Esperanza Serena.
He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Chris, Mark and Eric; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Sophia Ramirez; sisters, Lupe Lopez and her husband Gilbert Lopez, Hope Salinas and her husband Richard Salinas; brother Phillip Ramirez and his wife Virginia Ramirez.
