My condolences for your loss. I worked with R.B. at Randalls the entire time he was there and met Bea numerous times, what a delightful couple. When I think of R.B. the one thing that comes to my mind is 'true gentleman', there weren't many of them and I'm sorry we have lost this one. May he rest in peace.

I have volunteered with R.B. at East Spring Branch Food Pantry for many years. I always loved seeing that beautiful smile of his when he walk in on Tuesday morning. We all enjoyed hearing his stories of his children and his grandchildren. He was so proud of all of his family. He was so happy about living at Brookdale. He said it was like living in a resort and he love the fact he could go get pie anytime he wanted to. We all loved R.B. and were so sorry to hear of his passing and will miss him so much.

A loving father, husband, grandfather and a true gentleman and role model for so many. RB epitomizes what it means to be "solid". I always admired and respected him for his wonderful optimism. He is one of "the good guys" and greatest generation whom I will always remember. May he Rest In Peace.

Saddened to hear the news of Tio Melo’s passing, but remembering to celebrate his beautiful life. I believe he and Aunt Dora are sharing a dance together about now. Coincidentally, the Astros are playing as I received the news. I still think of him every time I see them, as he and Aunt Dora took me to my first game attended with my grandparents, Adolph and Dora Hernandez. Thank you for the lovely memories and your and Aunt Dora’s hospitality. Condolences and prayers for the family.
