Rebecca E. Christian, 83 of Willis, Texas, wife of the late Walter Earl Christian, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Rebecca was born April 5, 1928 in Zanesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, James William & Helen Landis and her brother and sister-in-law, Paul & Evelyn Landis.
She is survived by 3 step sons & their wives: David & Cherry Christian, Donald Christian, Darrell & Paige Christian. By 2 brother-in-laws & 3 sister-in-laws, Robert & Beverly Christian, Ruby Christian and Lynn & Ophelia Christian. By 2 nieces: Marsha Exum, and her husband, Bob; Sandy Louth, and her husband, Michael. By 4 nephews: Paul Landis, Jr. and wife, Jan; Ronald Landis and wife, Karen; Donald Landis and wife, Cathy; Ronnie Christian and wife, Holly. By 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous great nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 5-7PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
