Reginald Wallace Norwood

He was born April 5, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Drayton Erwin Norwood and Juanita Virginia Cheek and was raised by his loving grandparents Hope and Zimmer Norwood. Reggie was an active life member of the Houston livestock show & rodeo beginning 1984. And served as a Corral Club volunteer from 1993 - 2001; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, grandson and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Norwood; children: Deanna Hill, Kelli Johnson and Stacie Morgan; step children: Kayla Drake, Haley Carter, Michael Johnson and Marissa Johnson; grandsons: Mason Benitez, Ean Johnson, Joshua Hill, Tyler Hill, Jacob Hill, Brandon Baldassira, Drayton Norwood, Jr., and Haedyn Norwood; granddaughter Priscilla Robert; great-grandsons: Callen Bishop Benitez, Brooks Major Benitez and Chandler James Hill and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Reggie is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and son Drayton Norwood.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial at Rosewood Cemetery.
