Rellim James Miller, Jr.

He was born in Eunice, Louisiana on November 16th, 1944 to Mary and Rellim James Miller Sr. He was married to Lynn Beeson Miller for 39 wonderful years.

R.J. wanted to be an artist when he grew up and was very happy to find a career in Piping Design for Petrochemical companies for over 45 years. He said with a straight edge and compass, he could draw anything. He had a passion for being outdoors, fishing, hunting, tennis, bike riding, dancing, cooking and sharing all this with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rellim James Miller Sr and Mary Miller, and son Rellim James “Jimmy” Miller III.

He is survived by his wife Lynn Miller; stepmother Bettye Miller; sisters Faye Harold and husband Troy, Sonia Rains and husband Albert “Sonny”; children Christy Jones and husband Ross, Jason Miller, and Jennifer Barry and husband Sean; grandchildren Alexandria, Trent, Audrey, Brooke, Zachary and Brendan; great-grandchild Caiden and many family and friends.

Visitation is Friday, January 5, 2018, at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial Service will be 3:30 pm -4:00 pm followed by a reception at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
