Remigio M. Arreola was born on October 1, 1924 to Refugia and Reyes Arreola in Cameron County, Texas, after attending College, he later joined the Marines and was a part of the Special Service Elite Operations Marine Raiders where he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other medals. After returning from the service he later married Mary Ann Landez on February 22, 1947 who he was married to for 53 years and had six kids; Sylvia Estrada, Mary Siener, Rene Arreola and Arthur Arreola; as well as his two children that preceded him in death, Ernestine and Remigio Jr. He is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann, and parents. He enjoyed sports especially The Houston Astros and the Texans. Later in life he married Mary Lee Boothe on September 1, 2007. They had a lovely 11 years of marriage, enjoying one another and were almost always together. He became an usher at Restoration Square which he enjoyed and loved dearly, he also enjoyed praying for people and reading The Bible. Remigio has 14 grand-children, 42 great grand-children, 12 great great grand-children, 4 step-children, sisters, brothers, relatives and friends.
