He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Duron and Ninfa G. Duron; and brother Robert “Taylor” Duron.
He is survived by his sister, Blanca D. Aleman, Brother-in-law Felipe R. Aleman. Nieces Rachelle Duron, Lauren Aleman, and Alyssa Aleman; nephews Xavier Duron and Joshua Duron. Aunt Abelia D. Colunga; uncles Edward A. Guerra and Israel Villarreal; along with numerous cousins, family, and friends.
A visitation for Rene will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. The rosary service will begin at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a committal service at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
