Rene Perez

Rene met Rosina in Houston, Texas, and they were married on February 14, 1991. He built his life through steady work and determination, forging a career as a self-employed construction worker with Perez Construction CO, where he worked since 1988. He was a member of the City of Houston Minority Certified and carried a genuine passion for traveling, always grateful for the chance to see more of the world. Above all, Rene was devoted to his family, living with a steadfast sense of responsibility and care that never wavered.

Those who knew Rene will remember a man who gave of himself freely—generous in spirit, unwavering in loyalty, and constant in his desire to lift others up. He stood beside his parents with enduring devotion, and he believed in the dreams and visions of others, even when they struggled to believe in themselves. His happiness was never solitary; when he found joy, he made room for others to share it, too.

For five years, Rene faced an extraordinarily difficult battle with remarkable strength, courage, and faith. During that time, his family witnessed three miracles—gifts they will hold close for the rest of their lives. His love, kindness, and steadfast devotion touched countless lives, and the values he lived by will continue to guide those who loved him.

Rene was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Medina Perez and Romana Perez; brothers, Juan Perez Jr. and Alfonso Perez; and sister, Alicia Morales.

Rene is survived by his loving wife, Rosina Perez; daughters, B’anca Huerta,Husband Eduardo Huerta, Grandchildren Beliana Rene Huerta, Eduardo Rene Huerta and Daughter Rosina Nicole Perez, Husband Julio Dominguez Jr. GrandChildren Julio Cesar Dominguez Rosalia Amparo Dominguez ; brother, Arturo Perez; sisters, Irma Barron,Leticia Perez, and Olivia Narvaez.

Serving as pallbearers are, Eduardo Huerta, Julio Dominguez Jr., Hector Harvaez Jr., Samuel Morales, Fidel Delacruz Jr., Alfonso Perez Jr., Waldo Narvez, Joseph Lopez, , Casimiro Barron, Byron Munguia, Omar Narvez, Erik Delacruz, Eddie Perez, Joe Michael, Andrew Ortegon, and Ramiro Moralez Jr.

Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, on June 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Viewing will be held at Manantial De Vida Church, 2810 Lauder Rd, Houston, Texas 77039, on June 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Manantial De Vida Church, 2810 Lauder Rd, Houston, Texas 77039, on June 29, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, on June 29, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
