Rest in peace, my dear brother. Here is a memory to share. Rex started playing trumpet in 8th grade. By 11th grade, he was so good, he and two friends were in a trumpet trio competition. They scored a "1," which earned them the right to go to "state." Amazingly, they received a "1" at state, which was tremendous. Surprisingly, I was their pianist and they still won.

It saddens my heart that I can't be with you today. I will keep him in my prayers. Love, Trish
