Rex Willis passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 5, 2020 at the age of 60. He spent his final hours doing what he loved the most – spending time with his children in the pursuit of their dreams.
When he wasn’t at the ballfield with his wife and children, Rex enjoyed cooking, going to the beach and piddling. He loved his Tigers, Eagles, and Astros and everyone knew it. He was friends with everyone he met, and it didn’t take much before he treated you like family. He had a heart of gold, and he shared it every chance he could.
Rex is survived by his wife, Andee; daughter, Catie; and sons, Keegan and Tommy; his parents, Rex and Pauline Willis; sister, Paula Oswald; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Madeline Willis; nephews, Jonathan, Garrett, Matthew, and Kyle; niece, Kelly; and countless friends.
