Reynaldo Ray Amaro, age 78, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. Ray was born October 25, 1942 to Jacinta Tijerina and Ascencion Amaro.

Ray is survived by his wife, Yolanda E. Amaro; daughter Irene Amaro Bellard; granddaughter Elizabeth Nicole Arevalo Gomez, grandson Jaime Ray Arevalo, grandson Mike Anthony Amaro, grandson D'Angelo E Bellard, granddaughter Isabel V Bellard, grandson Amare D Bellard, great-granddaughter Lilly Marie Gomez, great-granddaughter Allison Mia Gomez, great-granddaughter Madelyn Mya Gomez and great- grandson Mike Amaro, Jr.

Ray was preceded in death by his son Jaime Rey Amaro; his mother Jacinta Tijerina and his father Ascencion Amaro and several siblings.

Ray leaves behind two living sisters, Mary Amaro Zapata, Sara Amaro Longoria; three living brothers Manuel Amaro, Ramiro Amaro and Charles Amaro. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends..

A memorial service for Ray will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087.
