Rhea Louise Beckham

Rhea Louise was born in Robstown, Texas on the 1st of December 1935. She graduated from Robstown High School and attended Southwestern University, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. After meeting the love of her life, Beverly Welford Beckham III, they were happily married for 54 years. She was a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church and The Junior Forum of Houston.

Rhea Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Corrye Wright Perdue and David Rhea Gracey. She is survived by her husband, Beverly Welford Beckham III, whom she loved with all her heart; her two children, Beverly Welford Beckham IV and wife Cynthia Anne Osborne Beckham, Nanci Caye Beckham Magee and husband Rick Clark Magee; her four grandchildren, Ashley Lauren Magee, Beverly Welford “Ford” Beckham V, Emily Anne Beckham and Carter Clark Magee. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph Perdue Gracey and wife Shirley, and Charles P. Stewart.

Rhea Louise will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her husband, children, and grandchildren deeply love her and thank her for her unconditional love, complete loyalty, determination, courage, and faith.

The memorial service will be held at 1 o’clock PM, on Monday, the 25th of July 2011, at the Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, located at 12955 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77079. Immediately following the service, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at the Church.

In lieu of the customary remembrances, the family requests that contributions be made in Rhea Louise’s name and directed to the Happy Hill Farm Academy, 3846 N. Hwy. 144, Granbury, Texas 76048.
