Ricardo was preceded in death by his father, Joaquin Garza.
Ricardo will be deeply missed. Ricardo lived a life marked by great joy and love for his family and great connection with those who his life crossed paths with. He found strength and comfort in his faith and the support of his loved ones. Throughout his life, he never failed to make any room he walked into light up. His energy was contagious and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind cherished memories with his family and all whom his presence brought comfort. While his journey on this Earth has come to an end, we find peace in knowing that he has returned to the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father.
He is survived his mother Olga Garza Martinez and siblings Joaquin Garza Jr, Eduardo Garza, and Martha Garza along with his nieces and nephews. Ricardo’s mass service will be held at Assumption Catholic School, 801 Roselane St, Houston, TX 77037, US, on August 18, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 8022 Airline Dr, Houston, TX 77037, US, on August 18, 2026, at 11:30 am.
