Martin Hernandez, 81, born in San Benito, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents Domingo L. Hernandez and Hortencia Q. Hernandez, brother; Elpidio Q. Hernandez and sister; Leonor H. Ramirez.
He is survived by brothers Domingo Q. (Elvia) Hernandez, Rodolfo Q. (Blanca Oralia) Hernandez, and Jose Roberto Q. (Janie) Hernandez.
Martin was a war veteran served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years. He was a die hard fan of the Harlingen Cardinals, Notre Dame and the Green Bay Packers.
Funeral services will be held today at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Cremation will follow.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory.
