Ricardo G. Santos Sr.

Richard was born April 3, 1953 in Houston Texas and was a lifelong resident of the city.

He managed his transmission repair business (Santos Automatic Transmissions) until his shoulder injury in mid 1990. He loved his family, fishing, music (Elvis Presley), and enjoyed frequenting various casinos.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Joe G. Santos Sr, brother, Joseph G Santos Jr. spouse(Carol), and sister, Joann Samaniego, spouse (John).

He is survived by his Mother, Maria V Gonzalez, and by Rebecca Olivos Santos, the mother of his three children: sons, Richard (Adriana) and Jerry (Leslie) Santos; daughter, Dr. Annette Santos Vifquain (Dustin). Four grandchildren, Cora Vifquain, Mia Alexandra, Richard Adam and Jacob Joseph Santos.

Sisters, Maria Elena (Helen) Gonzales, spouse (Anastacio), Sulema (Susie) Carpio and Elvira (Betty) S. Haas, spouse (Major General Christopher Haas), and many nieces and nephews. Services for Ricardo Santos will be as followed the Visitation will be at Brookside Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at 9 am at Brookside Funeral Home.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family following interment service at 1:30 p.m. at Indio's Mexican Restaurant, located at 9830 Jensen Dr, Houston, Texas.
