Happy Easter my old guy! He has risen but you know that because you are walking hand in hand with our sweet savior. 
Easter was not the same without you. My memories of us dying eggs last year fill my mind and heart.
I miss you so very much. I felt you over me this past week that I was in the hospital. Thank you for making me the strong women I am today, keeping my head up and eyes open.
I would of never thought in a million years that I would go through what I have without you. I know the peace that passes all understanding and joy of my sweet Jesus with your hands to carry me help.

Words will never be able to describe how much you mean to me and how much I miss you.  You will always be my hero; my forever friend.  I miss the smile on your face and the smell of your skin.  I miss your arms around me and the sound of your voice.  I was your #1, your golden child... your princess... your "can do anything" Chrissy. Rest in peace now my sweet dad, play amoung the angels and rest your weak body. Thank you for all the love you shared with Angie and me.  

Trey misses you so very much.  We talk about you all the time and he is sad that you are no longer around.  He knows that you were sick but still the same... he was your special "Taco" - your special friend.

Christian is a mess, wanting to go to your house with the deer. Wondering where Mimi is and wants to talk to you on the phone.  You would be so proud of your little "burrito", he turns four years old today... a little you, silly smile and all!

It makes me so sad that I was not there to say my finial good-bye, but this is not good-bye... just see you later.
I know that when I was laying in the hospital bed, you were looking down on me, protecting and loving me.  Even though I knew you would have loved me with you, you and God knew that three little boys and "ol Arch" needed me more. Archie is a wonderful man and will take the best care of us while you are away.
I know when God takes away he gives...I thank God for taking you, to end all your pain, then sending me my healthy Maysan in return - amazing... I wish you could have seen him... he is beautiful just like you.  He has your spirit in his eyes and the most sweetest Richard smile.
Thank you again daddy.... I love you, I love you, I love you - I miss you my sweet daddy... I miss you.
I will always do what you have always told me to do, "pick your chin up and go on... keep chugging on".

To Richards family: Richard and I grew up in the same neighbor and went to school at shsu.  He was always full of fun and laughter.  He will be missed to all that knew him.

Cherry, I remember Richard mostly from his teenage years.  He was quite a character.  He always kept us entertained.  We used to have a good laugh watching him sneak out his bedroom window after curfew.  He loved life and he became a good man, wonderful Father and Grandfather.  He was a good brother to you. Dear Cherry, what a sweet message and tribute to your brother, I know he felt the same about you.  My prayers are with you all during this most difficult time.  I am thankful to have known Richard, and for all of the kindness he had shown me through the years.  May he rest in God's love and peace.

Even though 12 years separate us I felt we were joined at the hip.  I understood you and you understood me.  No tough time, no miles and no person ever separated us and the love we had for each other.
You fought a great fight that invaded your body. I am so glad that you are completely free of any sign of cancer cell and it's mark it made on your body.
You are with Mom and Dad and most of all face to face with Jesus.
Enjoy your forever home in Heaven that are beyond any words to describe it.  Just make sure my house is close to yours when I come to join you.  We will just continue our love and relationship for eternity.  What a day that will be!

Richard, I'm reminded of so many funny things you would say. It saddens me that you have left this Earth, but I know you are having the best reunion with your Mom and Dad. I can't believe nearly 2 years have passed since you and I last spoke. Even though we never had that talk in the middle of a field, I am certain of what you wanted to say. Always one to give advice and direction "remove the emotion" and then make decisions. I didn't understand that for the longest time, but I figured out what you meant. So, now you are free to cater to those in Heaven. God bless your giving soul. My prayers and thoughts goes out to Chrissy & family, Cherry & family, Angie and Linda.

Richard was a hard working and fun loving man.  I knew him as Cherry's older brother whom she will always love dearly. My heart goes out to Chrissy, Angela, Linda and of course Cherry, Dale and Crystal.
