Surviving Richard are brothers William E. Brown and Robert J. Brown (wife Isabel), and sister-in-law Alice Brown, five nephews and one niece. He is predeceased by three brothers and sisters-in-law.
Richard grew up and had his early years in the Pittsburgh area. He attended The Pennsylvania State University (1977) and obtained an MBA from the University of Houston (1990). His professional life was in accounting and tax consultation. Much of his later life was in Houston, Texas where eventually passed away.
Richard’s primary hobby was reading. He would regularly read 2-3 books simultaneously and read thousands of books over his life. He favored history, philosophy and economics and was always ready for a long discussion on any of those topics. However, his favorite book was the Bible and would reread it to reconcile his learnings from the other books.
Richard’s remains will be interred in Monroeville, Pa near much of his family.
