Richard "Rick" Harms, 61, of Houston passed away, Tuesday, April 23. Rick was born July 14 in Houston, Texas, to William R. Harms and Bettie Jane Harms. On April 24, 1982, he married Nanette Brasse in Houston. Rick was a loving husband, father and friend. He loved the outdoors, hunting, golfing and his many pets. Rick is survived by his wife Nanette, son Blake, daughter Natalie, mother Bettie, sister Patty Gilvarry and her husband Richard Gilvarry, brother Ron, nephew Adam Gilvarry, niece Jennifer Hardwick and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive guests at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer) on Thursday, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 26 at Park Place Baptist Church 4101 Broadway Street.
