Richard K. Kusi

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 11, at Garden Oaks Funeral Home, located at 13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will be held from 8:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 12, at Garden Oaks Funeral Home, with Pastor Leslie Lawson of The Church of Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, Texas. Arrangements have been made by Garden Oaks Funeral Home.

Richard was born in Ghana to Celia and Albert Kusi. He married Ann Abbey on February 11, 2017, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Forest Institute and worked as a caretaker for the disabled. Richard served as a Deacon and member of the choir for The Church of the Pentecost.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Cecilia Kusi, and his father, Albert Kusi.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Abbey; his daughter, Cecilia Kusi; his son, Elijah Kusi; Dora Avokah; Cynthia Adu-Kumi; his sister, Esther Serwaa Boamah; Eric Boamah Sr.; Eric Boamah Jr.; Oppong Boamah; Daniel; and Sampson Antwi Boamah.
