

Richard E. LeBlanc was born to Ernest and Elvina LeBlanc on June 28, 1941 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Raised on a Dairy farm in Conroe, Texas , Mr. LeBlanc met and married Ms. Joyce A. Chevalier, wife of 45 years and from this union two children were born. Mr. LeBlanc graduated from Prairie View A&M with a degree in Agriscience and Technology. He provided 30 years of service in the field of Agriculture. Not only was Mr. LeBlanc a mentor for students, but he taught parents and their children. Mr. LeBlanc was an integral part in coaching students with their fair projects. Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Warren James LeBlanc. He departed his life on Friday, November 9, 2012. Mr. LeBlanc leaves to cherish precious memories, a devoted loving wife of 45 years, Joyce Ann LeBlanc; daughter, Amanda Ann LeBlanc-Brossette; son, Joseph Duane LeBlanc and son-in-law, John Alvin Brossette. Brothers; Fredrick LeBlanc, Milton J. LeBlanc and Overton LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc will be remembered by numerous other relatives and countless friends. Mr. LeBlanc was a life member of the Fort Bend County Fair, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Honorary Chapter Farmer for George Ranch and Foster High School. Mr. LeBlanc was a retired Agriscience teacher and taught at Kendeleton ISD and Lamar CISD. He was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 35 years.
