Left to cherish Woo's memory along with his parents are his four siblings, Raymond Martinez, Daniel Ortega, Belinda Gomez, and Ricky Gomez. He also leaves behind five nephews and three nieces his uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins.
As a little boy, Richard thought he was a "muscle man". He always thought he was so tough. Richard was the protector of his family any time that his mother would call he would drop everything and get home to make sure everything was ok.
Richard had a beautiful personality. He loved music, food and dancing. He loved hanging out with his friends and family and seeing people happy made him happy. For anyone that knew Richard, knew he had his famous sayings: "Razzle Dazzle", "Well, act like it", "I'm a poet and didn't know it", "It's going down right here right now", "Ola Como Estas" and lastly "Thank you very muncho".
Richard was always ready for a good party dressed to impress in his customary Stacy Adams, fresh pressed clothes, and the ever-ready alarm on his phone to make a last-minute beer run before the stores stopped selling. Richard (Woo) was such a good-hearted person, he always thought of everybody. Bein the people person that he was if you didn't know, Woo when he got there you knew him by the time he left.
Woo will be loved and missed by so many people. His legacy will be his sense of humor, incredible wit and famous one liner sayings that only Woo could say and make his own. Richard "Woo" Martinez was truly one of a kind and God broke the mold when he made him.
