Born on May 9, 1968, Richard was a natural leader with a huge heart, a sharp sense of humor, and a gift for bringing joy to everyone around him. Whether he was singing, dancing, cracking jokes, or cooking one of his amazing meals, he knew how to light up any room. Most of all, he loved his 4 adult children deeply and unconditionally.
He is survived by Richard Abraham Martinez, Adam Martinez, Sofia Martinez and Cecilia Martinez.
A visitation will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on June 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A graveside service will follow at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598, on June 20, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
