Richard L. Stephenson

He was born October 26, 1933 in Montgomery Alabama. Richard is preceded in death by Mavis, his loving wife of over 52 years, daughter, Catherine Elizabeth, brother, Jackie Earl Stephenson, and both parents.

As the beloved patriarch of his family, he is survived by his Sister Rosemary Clark; Brother: Benny Stephenson; Daughter: Leann Savoy and husband Al; Son: Ricky Stephenson, Jr.; Three Grandsons: Neal Matthews and wife Traci, Mark Stegall, and Randy Stegall and one Great Grandchild, Tyler Matthews.

A visitation with the family will be on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m. at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Road. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park immediately after to honor his service in the military
