Mr. Amerman is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Mary Ann Amerman. He is survived by his children, Peggy Blake, Patricia Amerman, and Bob Amerman; his niece, Angie Barber; and his godson, James Barber.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077.
