Robert Elton Andress Sr.

Bob served in the US Air Force from 1948 – 1952, then became a CPA for Gulf Oil, where he retired in the 1980s. Bob and Jackie Banack were married on November 6th, 1953. Both were active members of Tallowood Baptist Church for 46 years. He is predeceased by his parents William Kennedy Andress and Clara Hale Andress. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jackie Banack Andress, his daughter Robin Andress Corrigan and husband Ed Corrigan, his son Robert Andress Jr., and his wife Sandra Andress, his daughter Rori Kaye Whittlesey and husband Thomas Whittlesey, and grandchildren; Paula Whittlesey, Krystian and Myron Dunford of Germany, Sarah Ruth Whittlesey, Nicolas Andress, and Carrie Whittlesey. He is also survived by his brother Leroy Andress and wife Katherine, brother Milton Andress, and sister JoAnn Boyett and husband Jerry Boyett, also brother-in-law Emerson Banack and wife Rosemarie Banack. He leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.

Bob was an avid sports lover and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren compete through the years. He was known for his military service, his love for his family, and his faith in the Lord. All who knew Bob enjoyed his sense of humor and charming smile.
