

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 25, 1955. He grew up in Victoria, Texas until moving to Refugio, Texas at the age of 15. He attended the Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas in 1973. After graduation, he began his auto mechanic career in Houston, Texas and was known as the best mechanic in Texas.
He is a member of several organizations such as the Bonneville 200mph Club, Loring 201 mph Club, Loring Timing 200 Club and the Texas Mile 200 mph Club.
He had a passion for land speed racing and enjoyed spending time with his pets Roxy and Tiger.
Bob was preceded in death by his father Ralph M. Sellers and mother Reba F. Sellers. He is survived by his sister Connie Davis and husband Gene, nephew Jason Davis and wife Scarlett, niece Kimberly Mitchan and husband Leroy, great nieces and nephews; Holly, Hunter and Reba Davis; Wrigley and Brenda Mitchan.
The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Carol Sellers, Deann Arnold Wilson, Billy Shoemaker, Kurt Minke and Davy Parsons.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery located on 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM with the service starting at 2:00PM followed by a committal service at 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests all donations to be made out to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Abandoned Animal Rescue (AAR) in Tomball, Texas.
