

Robert Lesley Clay, 49, passed away January 29, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was born September 17, 1965 in White Settlement, Texas to Jimmy C. Clay and Maryanne Silva. His family moved to Houston when he was six months old.
He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and they later moved to Katy, Texas.
He attended school in the Spring Branch School District and went to college in San Marcos on a track scholarship.
Robbie was a member of the Gulf Coast Scandinavian Club and performed with them in Sweden in 1981. He was also a member of the Rathkamp German Folkdancers and performed all over Texas and Astroworld. He loved to travel and traveled with a friend to Europe visiting Germany and Italy. He lived in Hawaii for a few years then moved to Louisiana to help his fiancé care for her ill mother. He later returned to Texas to work in the Katy area.
Robert is survived by his father, Jimmy Clay, brother, John McCammack, sisters, Diana Rabun and Sandy McCammack and other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024.
