Met Bob in Venezuela while I was working with MI. Heard he parted yesterday from Mike Bryant who also worked with us. Lovely person,good friend. My sincere condolences to his wife Cynthia and to all his family. Bob, we were all lucky to meet you and be your friends.

I am in a state of shock on learning of Bob's passing.He was a true friend and co-worker. He helped me so much in Venezuela when we both worked for MI/IMCO. Bob had many friends within the "company" due to his straight-forward honesty.Bob will be missed by many.

Bob Cole was a gentle, friendly man.  He prepared our taxes for about 10 years.  I looked forward to every visit with him and hearing about his cats, his antique collectible items, and the trips he took.  He was always helpful, considerate and easy to work with.  I miss him and his sunny disposition.  Rest in Peace, my good friend.

I just learned of Bob's untimely death.  He will be missed.

We just learned of Bob's passing and were totally taken by surprise. We will always be grateful for his kindness and help. God Bless you Cindy, and know Bob will be forever in our hearts.

We were so saddened to just find out about Bob's passing. He had been preparing  our taxes for 26 years, and we will really really miss his yearly visits!  I've told so many people about how Bob made the tax visit such a personable and fun experience and that we knew the outcome before he would leave!  Such a fun genuine person! Bob was a great guy. I had the pleasure of training him when he for started in the IRS August 29, 1978. When I retire he was my mentor when I started my tax practice. He was there when the software would not let me input the data or the result was not right. We talk often and have a good laugh together.
I will miss him and I lost a great friend.

I just found out about Bob's passing - I am stunned and speechless. I met Bob in 1980 at IMCO.  He was my softball and volleyball coach for IMCO and has been doing my taxes since 1980. He was such a great friend - my family looked forward to seeing him EVERY year at tax time - he made everything seem so simple and easy.  We Loved Bob and his wonderful sense of humor.  My prayers and thoughts are with you Cindy - and his family - God Bless Bob - he will be missed here on Earth - can't wait to see him in Heaven.

What a blow. I am another who is shocked and saddened by this news. I first met Bob in 1991 in Ecuador when I was with MI, and although we never spent all that much time together, for that short time period when I was in Ecuador & Colombia, we always looked forward to Bob's visits, mainly for the same reason that many have written, he was just so fun to be around. He made everyone feel better. Needless to say, and echoing many others, he surely made my life a lot more tranquilo with the help he gave with my taxes. Robert, you are sorely missed! You and your family will always be in our prayers and thoughts.

Somehow, I'm sure you have a great spot in heaven watching this, and I think you are getting a kick out of knowing we are all going to be in trouble this tax season! We will miss you Bob, not only for your great advice and great professional service, but as a treasured friend. We met you 28 years ago, on our first wedding anniversary to do our taxes, which you found hilarious since Craig is an accountant, and you have done them ever since. I had never met Bob in person but worked with him on my son, Tom Blue's tax return. We had a mutual respect for each other since I also am a CPA (55 yrs).  When I told Bob we were moving to Kerrville he told me he came to Fredricksburg often to get away and would come by to see and meet us in person.  Guess that meeting will now have to take place in Heaven.  Lynn and my prayers are with all of the family.

I was both stunned and very saddened to hear of Bob's death.  I will miss him and our yearly visit at tax time.  It may sound silly to say, but he made it fun.  Bob was a good person; this old world will miss him.  My deepest sympathy to his wife and family.

I think Bob cooked me dinner once a year always on a Saturday night for over 19 years!  The candles, the great food the wine bought to order are some great memories of Bob! I can't even put in words how shocked I am that such a life force has left us.  Whenever he was around, I was laughing, usually until my sides hurt.  Once, I declined another glass of wine because I didn't want to drink the whole bottle.  He took a spoonful of a drink, handed me the glass, and said "there...now we shared it."  That was just always how Bob was to me.  He will be missed.

We are sending sympathy and prayers for comfort and guidance as you face the difficult days ahead. Bob was such a positive and funny person. He always had a happy outlook that was contagious to everyone around him.  We will miss him, but will always remember him fondly.

Bob had prepared our taxes for many years (almost sacrilege as I'm too a CPA - but it was good for my marriage ...). I as well as all the others here looked forward to visiting with Bob each year even more than receiving his sage advice. He will surely be missed. All my best to his family and friends.

Bob was a very good person and went out of his way to help others at tax time.  He will be missed.

Bob has been a friend of mine for more than 30 years.  Best score keeper for the women's softball team of IMCO Services and has been a friend of our children as well as us.  Ron and I will never forget the vacation cruise we took with Bob and Cindy after Cindy's niece got married.  We had never been on a cruise and were very excited to go on one with Bob and Cindy.  We will sorely miss Bob, especially at tax time every year.  Cindy, I say we get together in 2014 at Tax Time and toast Bob.... wouldn't  be bad to do that every year.
