Robert C. Flowers, Jr.

In Houston , Texas on December 27, 1961 Robert Carl Flowers, Jr. was born to the late Georgia and Robert Flowers, Sr. He attended public school at Sam Houston High School and graduated in 1980. He went to work for the City of Houston in July of 1984 and continued his career with them until his retirement in February of 2014. Robert or "Jr." as many called him was truly a good guy, he was an avid cook, hunter and fisherman and on many weekends you could find him enjoying some of his many hobbies. Robert had a favorite saying, why put off tomorrow what you can do today which he lived by. He was a man of his word and worked hard to provide a good life to his family. Robert departed this earthly life on May 9th, 2015 he is preceded in death by his parents Georgia V. Flowers and Robert Carl Flowers, Sr.; Grandparents Marcina Flowers and Emiel Ellis Flowers Sr., Lillie Washington and George Green. He leaves to cherish in his memories his wife of nearly 30 years Barbara Flowers; daughters Ashley and Alexandria Flowers; only brother Lawrence Flowers; one grandson Ashton Powe; two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
