Robert Joseph Fos

He was born December 22, 1928, in New Orleans, LA. In 1953 he married Patricia Swayne Fos. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His 40-year career with Texaco relocated his family to Houston in 1964, where he and Patricia reared their four children. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their Galveston beach house.Bob was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Fos, brother James Fos and his wife, Mary Ann. Surviving Bob are daughter Jill Stevens and husband, Jim; son Craig Fos and wife, Michele; son Brian Fos; daughter Kelly Kippes and husband, Bobby; sister-in-law Audrey Andrieu and husband, T.J.; and grandchildren, Kenny and Erica Fos; Megan Fos; Allie Stevens; Austen and Jacque Stevens; Taylor, Meredith, Wesley, Madison and Faith Kippes; and his Scottish terrier, Bonnie. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home on September 25, 2010, with Pastor Bill Haygood officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Mahdi Al-Bassam and his staff for the devoted care that allowed us to have so many years of fond memories of Dad and Grandpa.
