

He was born in Houston, Texas, on June 5, 1946, and raised in Houston, Texas, and Middletown, Ohio, where he graduated from Middletown High School in 1964. He attended Miami University, Oxford, until
1965, when he transferred to the School of the Dayton Art Institute, followed by the Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles, until 1971. After graduation, he went to work at Brown & Root as a photographer, where he documented numerous civil infrastructure projects, off-shore drilling platforms, and other oil and gas projects around the world. After 20+ years working in photography and having earned the respect of his coworkers; he was then promoted to procurement position within Brown & Root’s government contract division, where he worked on numerous projects across the country until his retirement in 2018 at his home in Houston.During his retirement he enjoyed various hobbies,family, and his faithful dog, Sassa.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Clarence Higdon 2008 and Margaret (Peggy) Higdon 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Badger Higdon, son Robert T Higdon,brother William D Higdon, sister Suellyn H (Suzi) Kana and husband Henry. We wish to thank the Staff and Caregivers of Parkway Place, The Auberge at Vintage Lake Memory Care, and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving and
attentive care. In lieu of flowers, contributions to any Animal Welfare Shelter
