

He attended and graduated from Resurrection Parochial, Saint Thomas High and South Texas Junior College. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after three years of military service. He was an employee of Exxon Company, U.S.A. for 35 years.
The most important thing to Bob was the love he had for his family and the love they shared between them.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Rose Jankowski, his first wife Ernestine Jankowski, his sister Mary Lee Hicks and his stepson Kevin Appolito. He is survived by his wife Rosetta Jankowski, his daughter Debbie Mosbey and her husband Rodney, his daughter Kim Freidell and her husband Brian, his son Scott Jankowski and Kimberly Bounds, his daughter Jacqueline Hayes and her husband Matt and his daughter Jennifer Transeau and her husband Justin and eight grandchildren: Mark and Dana Mosbey, Chase and Brandon Freidell, Madison and Nathan Hayes and Garrett and Tanner Transeau.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street, Houston, Texas 77007. Burial will follow with military honors in The Garden of Gethsemani at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
Pallbearers are Rodney Mosbey, Brian Freidell, Matt Hayes, Justin Transeau, Chase Freidell, Brandon Freidell, Mark Mosbey and Joseph Hicks. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Hicks, John Motley, Anthony Pitarra, Vincent Pitarra and Frank Pitarra.
