Robert William MacNaught

Rob was born in Warwick, RI on April 6, 1981 to Kenneth and Carol Lee MacNaught. He attended Toll Gate High School and graduated from the University of Chicago (where he found a home with the brothers of Alpha Delta Phi). Rob’s career as a commodities trader started in Chicago and continued in NYC. While in NYC he met, and married, his life partner, Ha Le. The family expanded to include two daughters, Molly and Madeline. Rob was devoted to his family and enjoyed traveling with them. Career opportunities brought the family to Houston.

Rob was an avid sports fan, especially Boston teams. He looked forward to the Fantasy Football Leagues. He enjoyed playing golf, a good game of poker, and travel. Rob loved people - when he arrived the party started. Rob was generous with friends and family. He will be deeply missed.

He was a favorite of his many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and children, Rob is survived by his parents and two sisters, Heather Stahl (Eli) of New York City and Malinda Jacob (Ryan) of Coventry, Rhode Island.

A wake for Robert will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with remembrances at 1:00 pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024, followed by cremation. A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church of East Greenwich, 1558 South County Trail, East Greenwich, RI on June 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
