Robert Keith “Pat” Pogue Sr., 88, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011. He was born August 5, 1922 in San Gabriel, TX to Coy and Lenora Pogue. Pat is preceded in death by his parents; 1 son Robert Pogue Jr.; 4 brothers Alfred Pogue, Jesse Pogue, Gerald Pogue, James “Tommy” Pogue. Pat is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Alene Pogue; 1 daughter Ronna Pogue-Edwards; 1 son Patrick Pogue; 1 brother, William “Bill” Pogue; 5 grandchildren, Stacy Pogue, Stanley Edwards, Shonna Michael Edwards, Ryan Pogue, Donald Pogue; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Brookside Memorial Park.
