Robert Louis Pressly

Robert Louis Pressly was born to Addirine and Mearon Pressly on November 9, 1929 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Aldine High School, was proud to be a Korean War veteran, and attended the University of Houston. Robert married Joan Marie Mangum on April 30, 1960. God blessed them with three daughters. Robert was a loyal employee of Cameron Iron Works for over 30 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed being a licensed Ham Radio operator, woodworking and model trains. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandson.

Robert went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday April 7, 2016. He is survived by his wife Joan, daughters; Judy Wagner, Kathy DeBettencourt and her husband Malcolm, and Betty Luchak. Grandchildren; Keegan and Amanda Wagner, Tanner DeBettencourt and his fiancé Courtney Garrod, Garrett DeBettencourt, Jared Wagner, and Jessica Luchak and his great grandson Hollin Wagner.

Visitation with family will be Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Directors Hunters Creek Chapel at 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4115 Blalock Road Houston, TX 77080. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
