Robert Richbourg

ROBERT ALLEN RICHBOURG, age 83, slipped quietly away from us on Sunday, November 25, 2012. He was a 1947 graduate of Reagan High School and was also a proud lifetime member of Sheet Metal Workers' Local Union No. 54, serving over 60 years as Apprentice, Journeyman, Business Agent, Financial Secretary Treasurer, and last but not least a Teacher at the Local's Trade School. Robert, a decorated Korean War Veteran, served as a Corporal in the Army's 82nd Pipeline Engineering Division from 1953 to 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Rosemary; parents, Rufus John and Ruth (Riggs) Richbourg, and his 3 brothers, Rufus, Rene', and Paul.

Robert is survived by his two daughters, Priscilla Bashinski and husband, Leonard and Roberta McBride and husband Greg. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Craig, Lisa, Troy, Tricia, Michael and Taryn with 4 great great-grandchildren, Cole, TJ, Wyatt and Natalie.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm, on Wednesday, November 28th at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 29th at 10:00 a.m. Procession will follow with interment at Forest Park Lawndale.
