Robert Ruben Rose

Robert Ruben Rose passed peacefully on August 15, 2026, from ALS complications. Robert was born to Jerry Marvin Rose and Ann Shouweiler Rose on July 17, 1959, in Waxahachie, TX. Robert was an alumnus of Akiba Academy, Franklin Junior High, Hillcrest High School (all in Dallas, Texas), East Texas State University, and South Texas College of Law. He was a licensed attorney and spent most of his working life in the pipeline right-of-way business. He loved his family beyond words, being Jewish, rock music, and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys. Robert is survived by the love of his life, Narumi Fujiwara Rose, and his three wonderful children, Ruben R. Rose, Aspen A. Rose, and his stepson, Travis T. Manney.

Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Cr, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095, US, on August 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. At the same location, there will be a Celebration of Life followed by a Reception, beginning at 5:00 pm.

We hope you can come and reminisce, laugh, and heal together. In his honor, we’d love to see you come in purple, his favorite color, or tie-dye/colorful attire (optional). Otherwise, come as you are!
