

Robert "Bob" W. Webster, Jr. beloved husband, father and "Pawpaw" passed away on March 20, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Webster; son, Russell "Rusty" Webster and daughter-in-law Kleta, of Pasadena, Texas; daughter, Suzanne Winkler and son-in-law Michael, of Sugar Land, Texas; grandchildren Travis Webster, Kyle Winkler and Kellsie Winkler; sister, Arlene Brittain; and nieces & nephews. Bob was born in Houston on July 27, 1930 to Robert and Essie Webster. He attended Jeff Davis High School in Houston where he met his wife, Sue. He honorably served in the US Air Force until 1954. He resided in the North Shore area until his retirement from Conoco Phillips as a piping designer. He then moved to Lake Livingston and finally was able to live on the water. He enjoyed fishing and baseball, but above all, loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Central Baptist Church where he was an usher and an active member in his Sunday school class. He loved volunteering and helping the church and local fundraisers. Bob never met a stranger; all he met were friends to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Tuesday, March 22nd. Funeral service will be conducted at 3PM on Wednesday, March 23rd. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
