Roberto “Bobby” Gorham, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at home in Houston, Texas. As a young man, he moved to Texas where he worked as a laborer. He dedicated over twenty years to working for SCI as a grounds specialist at Forest Park Lawndale and Westheimer. Bobby lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; landscaping, working on vehicles, fixing anything needing repair for others, chatting with friends and family after long work hours, having meals with family, and listening to music while having a cold one. Bobby had a great sense of humor and had a way of saying meaningful things with few words. Bobby is survived by his mother, Ana Mae Gorham; five sisters, Eva Jane Gorham, Naomi Toledo, Alicia Sosa, Elena Brooks, Edna Mae Gorham Rivera; three brothers, Enrique Gorham, William Gorham, David Gorham; daughters, Norma Gorham, Ruby Gorham, Carolyn Garcia, Judy Carrales; grandson, Isaac Martinez; 10 additional grand kids, 9 great grand kids; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
