

Roberto proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1973 to 1975. After his military service, he dedicated more than 30 years of hard work and commitment to the United States Postal Service. Known for his strong work ethic and dependable spirit, Roberto was respected by coworkers and friends alike.
Outside of work, Roberto had a deep love for baseball and spent many years coaching boys’ baseball, sharing his knowledge of the game while mentoring and encouraging young players. He found great joy in helping others and building lasting relationships within his community.
Roberto was preceded in death by his mother, Guillerma C. Perez; his father, Arturo Perez; and his brother, Anthony C. Perez.
He is survived by his son, Roberto A. Rodriguez and his wife, Denise Rodriguez; his daughter, Alysia Mena; his grandson, Robert Rodriguez; his granddaughter, Laila Marroquin; and his great-granddaughter, Soila Reina Marroquin. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Rodriguez and her husband, Arthur Rodriguez; his sister, Benita Hester; and his brother, Angel D. Perez.
Roberto will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the positive impact he had on the many young athletes he coached throughout the years. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
