Rocky had a love of fishing, four-wheelers, and anything that involved the outdoors. He was a huge sports fan and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams, Texas Aggies and Houston Astros. He was also the best handyman, always willing to lend a helping hand and able to fix just about anything.
Above all, he loved his family. His family was his greatest joy, and being surrounded by the people he loved was what mattered most to him. Of all the titles he held in life, the title of Papaw was his absolute favorite. His grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy, and being their Papaw was something he cherished deeply.
